Το Between Lines Sudoku σχεδιάζει γραμμές με κυκλικά άκρα. Κάθε ψηφίο κατά μήκος της γραμμής (εξαιρώντας τα ίδια τα άκρα) πρέπει να είναι αυστηρά μεγαλύτερο από το μικρότερο άκρο και αυστηρά μικρότερο από το μεγαλύτερο άκρο. Αν τα άκρα είναι 2 και 8, κάθε μεσαίο κελί στη γραμμή πρέπει να είναι ένα από τα 3, 4, 5, 6 ή 7. Όσο πιο κοντά είναι τα άκρα σε τιμή, τόσο πιο περιορισμένα είναι τα μεσαία κελιά.

Between Lines Sudoku is a variant where lines with circular endpoints are drawn on the grid. Every digit along a line (excluding the endpoint circles) must be strictly between the two endpoint values. The endpoints themselves are placed during solving — only the line positions are given.
